Top story: National Trust assessing UK PR account
The National Trust has confirmed in a statement that it is reviewing its UK PR account. A number of agencies have been approached, along with the current firm, Mischief which has held the account since 2011.
Future Publishing confirms nine-month losses and 40% staff cuts
The online and magazine publisher, Future Publishing, has confirmed a £35m pre-tax loss in the year to the end of September. During that time, the company reduced its headcount by more than 40% to 577, and sold a number of publications including its entire crafts and sports portfolio.
Future’s CEO, Zillah Byng-Maddick, said the transformation programme at the company has now been “largely completed.”

Kensington Palace has confirmed that the former head of PR for the Royal Bank of Scotland, Jason Knauf, has been appointed the new PR boss for the Duke and Duchess or Cambridge, and Prince Harry.
