What does the future have in store for the PR profession? Do PR pros need to turn into content marketers in order to survive? What place is left for media relations as Comms evolves in the digital age?
These are massive questions to ask and not ones I have much time to contemplate due to the all too familiar excuses of a heavy workload, an overflowing mailbox and a to-do list longer than my arm.
But this morning I took my first step to finding answers by signing up for the #FutureComms15 event. The one-day conference takes place on the 18th June in London’s Crystal venue near ExCeL.
This will be my first PR conference of the year and the speakers list, which features PRs from Ketchum, Telefonica, the Met Police and the CIPR, looks extremely strong and well worth a day out of the office.
The PR Hub team will be live-tweeting the event and blogging on the discussions but, if you’d rather be in the room, head over to the Future Comms website and book your space. If you’re quick, there is still time to benefit from the early bird discount if you order in the next 24 hours.
Now back to that to-do list…
