Adam Tuckwell | @AdamTuckwell
Having cut his PR teeth working in the fast-paced world of video games, Adam recently made the move to the publishing sector and now works for Cambridge University Press, the world’s oldest media organisation.
Well on the way to clocking up ten years in PR, Adam’s experience covers a slightly eclectic mix of traditional and non-traditional PR for global big-hitters in their respective fields. From organising product demonstrations in medieval castles to developing PR campaigns for the language of sport, Adam has a keen eye for a story and arguably takes a little too much pleasure in formatting PR plans like they are works of art in spreadsheet form!
Adam is also Joint-Chair of CIPR’s East Anglia committee, has judged the national CIPR Excellence Awards and is organising this year’s regional conference.
Jon Wilcox | @jonwilcox_
After a seven and a half year career in journalism covering business technology, public sector infrastructure and video games, Jon switched to the ‘dark side’ towards the end of 2011.
Beginning his second career in a boutique PR agency based in Bath, Jon’s first set of clients included an eclectic mix of healthcare, mobility, anti-virus software and encrypted storage companies. During that time, Jon worked as part of a team that delivered an CIPR award-winning campaign for a global partner of the London 2012 Paralympic Games, which resulted in more than 270 pieces of world-wide coverage.
In the spring of 2013, Jon went from agency to in-house as part of a 125 mile move from the westcountry to Cambridge. Now working for Jagex, the UK’s largest independent computer games developer, Jon’s background in technology and games journalism enables him to carefully position PR activity and assets to maximise results.

Danni is a people person and was destined to work in PR. After studying Interdisciplinary Human Studies she dipped her toes in the world of insurance with Aviva before moving into PR at Jagex where she could channel her passion for games into creative PR campaigns.
With four and a half years of PR experience under her belt, she has tried her hand at everything from media relations to event management.
