What is #PRHubLive?

For those new to PR Hub or #PRHubLive, we’ve created this little guide to let you know what the evening is all about.

PR Hub is more than an online home for PR professionals in Cambridge: every other month throughout the year we host #PRHubLive to bring the discussion into the real world with some local networking.

As volunteers, we aren’t trying to sell anything, we are simply motivated by providing hardworking PR Pros the opportunity to unwind, meet others from around the region and chat and network over a drink or two.

When is the next meet up?

Visit the regional pages for Cambridge and Oxford for details of the next #PRHubLive event near you.

Who is invited and who comes?

The evening is open to anyone who works in PR or related roles in Marketing. There is typically a good mix of freelancers, in-house PRs and agency practitioners.

What’s the format?

Whilst the venue changes, the format stays the same. We have thought long and hard about the format of the evening and asked attendees for feedback too. For now, we are keeping the format relaxed, so expect casual networking and drinks rather than name badges and elevator pitches.

Is the event free?

Not only is the event free, but we’ve partnered with local recruitment firm, Brand Recruitment, who have kindly agreed to sponsor the event so expect to have a drink or two on the house.

Do I need to register?

To help us plan the event, it would be helpful if everyone who wants to come could sign up via eventbrite, this allows us to manage expectations with the venue. It also means that we can contact you in the future about upcoming events and news.
